Protective Service Officer 14.50ph 42 Hours per Week

Covering Scotstoun Govan Bishopton and Hillend (as required)

Your Role :

As a Protective Service Officer in our Response Team youll be part of a dynamic unit based Scotland. Your role includes short-term deployments (typically 24 nights) to protect client assets across the UK and abroad often at short notice. Youll also provide resilience at sites including Scotstoun Govan Bishopton and Hillend ensuring constant protection and peace of mind for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Asset Protection: Maintain a secure environment for client properties equipment and personnel.

Mobile Protection: Travel between multiple sites to provide dynamic and rapid-response security.

Surveillance & Monitoring: Operate security systems (CCTV alarms access control).

Incident & Emergency Response: React effectively to emergencies liaising with relevant services.

Enforcement of Protocols: Implement site-specific security measures visitor management and ID checks.

Stakeholder Support: Engage with staff visitors and contractors with professionalism.

Professional Conduct: Maintain a smart appearance and represent the client with integrity.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For :

Valid SIA Licence (Essential)

Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle (Essential)

Must be a British Citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 years

Must be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)

5-year checkable work history

Previous experience in security or protective services (Preferred)

Strong communication observational and decision-making skills

High level of professionalism integrity and reliability

Able to work flexible hours including days nights and weekends
