The Risk Intelligence Center (RIC) delivers actionable intelligence on the global security & threat landscape, providing decision-making advantage and confidence to protect people, property and assets and to help make the world a safer place. The RIC is part of Securitas' new business unit, Security Risk Management (SRM), which is a holistic, intelligence-led approach to identifying, understanding, monitoring and acting on risks specific to each client.

As a Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to proactively identify and mitigate security threats through comprehensive analysis and strategic insights.

Essential Requirements:

  • You must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis, without the need for sponsorship.
  • Live within a 45-minute (door-to-door) commute of the office in Milton Keynes.
  • Ideally, have 3-5 years' experience working in an intelligence or intelligence-related analytical role.
  • Strong knowledge of, and genuine interest in, current affairs and the global security threat landscape.
  • Well‑developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, constructively, and professionally as part of a team.

The Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst is responsible for operating and supporting the delivery of intelligence products and services to Securitas and Securitas’ customers. The role is suited to someone with 3-5 years’ experience in intelligence and/or investigations. Direct experience in an operational role is essential.

The primary focus of the Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst is to lead the collection, processing and analysis of data and information to inform the production of intelligence products and services, and disseminate these to customers internally and commercially. The role will take the lead on complex and challenging customer Requests For Intelligence (RFIs).

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the management and direction of intelligence efforts, including identifying, prioritising, and tasking intelligence requirements.
  • Support the management of the collection of data and information, including use of intelligence tools and manual processes.
  • Support the management of the processing of intelligence into databases, forms, logs, systems, templates etc.
  • Support the management of the analysis of data and information using recognised intelligence techniques.
  • Support the management of the production of finished intelligence products autonomously or with support.
  • Support the management of the dissemination of intelligence products to stakeholders.
  • Support the management and drive of operational excellence through ongoing evaluation and feedback of intelligence services.
  • Support the identification and development of new sources and methods of research.
  • Provide leadership to the RIC, mentoring/coaching, guidance, and support to staff.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Securitas organisation.
  • Liaise and collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and agencies in the UK and internationally.
  • Be able to support the Protective and Global intelligence functions.
  • Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

Qualifications:

  • Must have the right to work in the UK permanently and have a five-year checkable employment history.
  • Must live within a 45-minute commute to the office in Milton Keynes, or be willing to relocate.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan own work effectively.
  • The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values.
