As a major global supplier of aerospace and defence systems, specialising in air-to-air refuelling technology, environmental systems, and actuation equipment, the Business Security Compliance Officer plays a vital role in supporting all aspects of security delivery, providing advice, guidance, and support to the business while ensuring compliance with company policies and National Security standards.
The Business Security Compliance Officer is responsible for managing a varied workload with limited supervision, demonstrating strong organisational and problem-solving skills while escalating any issues to the Deputy Security Manager or Site Security Manager as required. Working within a highly regulated environment, the Business Security Compliance Officer contributes to maintaining robust security frameworks, protecting critical assets, and supporting the organisation's commitment to operational excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Deliver all aspects of site security service support in line with company and government guidance.
- Communicate security requirements clearly with all personnel.
- Plan and prioritise workload to meet operational and business requirements.
- Gather and report security-related data to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain knowledge of current company and government security guidance.
- Manage security records and databases accurately and confidentially.
- Support security investigations and related activities.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle general site enquiries and complaints professionally, providing excellent customer service.
- Support awareness, education, and training activities related to security.
- Demonstrate integrity, vigilance, and professionalism whilst identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Deputy Security Manager or Site Security Manager.

Qualifications

- Valid SIA Licence
- British National due to site security requirements
- Eligible for and able to maintain DISA compliance
- Must have the right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work and address history
- Must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years
- DISA (Defence Industry Security Association) qualification required
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends when required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
