Location: Danvers, MA

Shift: Monday-Friday, 3rd shift (Overnight 12am-8am)

Rate: $19.47/hour

Securitas USA is currently seeking a professional and dependable 3rd Shift Security Officer to support the safety and security of a client site in Danvers, MA. This role is essential to maintaining a secure work environment during overnight hours, ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and confidential assets.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior corporate property, including parking lots, lobbies, office floors, and restricted areas
  • Monitor surveillance systems, access control systems, and alarm panels for unusual activity
  • Ensure proper identification and authorization for all personnel and visitors after hours
  • Respond promptly to security alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations in accordance with company procedures
  • Prepare thorough and accurate daily activity and incident reports
  • Support lock-up and unlock procedures and verify building is secure at end/start of shift
  • Enforce company policies, including safety protocols and access regulations
  • Collaborate professionally with site management, facilities personnel, and emergency responders as needed
  • Represent the company with a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Familiarity with basic security technology (CCTV, badge systems, alarm panels)
  • Strong observational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to remain alert, professional, and courteous throughout overnight shifts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
