We are seeking a Security Officer with over 2 years of security experience (preferred). The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA licence and possess a full UK driving licence. As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining safety and compliance across our sites. This position requires a proactive and professional Security Officer who can respond effectively to various situations while ensuring high standards of service.
Please note: Although the advert states Dorchester, the actual site location is Yeovil, which is a reasonable and commutable distance.

Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Conducting regular safety and security patrols.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
- Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches.
- Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption.
- Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.

Qualifications:
- A valid SIA licence.
- Resident in the UK for at least 5 years (for BPSS / SC purposes).
- Full UK driving licence.
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
- Customer focused, polite, tactful and discrete.
- Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance.
