Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Mobile Security Services: Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections, and escort services.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintainprofessional, polite, and helpful attitude towards clients, their staff, and Securitas colleagues at all times.
  • Team Direction: Follow instructions from Team Leaders and collaborate effectively with team members. Uniform and Identification: Always wear the company uniform, visibly displaying the SIA licence and security ID card.
  • Vehicle Management: Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring the security of the company vehicle and equipment.
  • Safe Driving: Abide by road rules (Highway Code), drive with due care and attention, and maintain the company's reputation.
  • Key Management: Adhere to correct key management processes when handling keys.
  • Assignment Completion: Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites.
  • Incident Escalation: Follow proper escalation processes forincidents, break-ins, health and safety issues, and road traffic accidents.
  • Reporting: Use GRS/SMP correctly, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting, supported by photos where applicable.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A valid SIA licence.
  • Manual Driving Licence.
  • Mobile patrol officer experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Physically fit for patrolling of site.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
  • Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
