Responsibilities:
- Perform mandatory screening and access control for all personnel and visitors entering the data centre.
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft security protocols and site-specific procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a professional, âwhite gloveâ approach.
- Monitor and report any irregularities or security breaches promptly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of screening activities and access logs.
- Operate screening equipment and follow structured processes with precision.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Support incident response and escalation procedures when required.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role.
- Engage in continuous learning and development to stay aligned with evolving security standards.
Qualifications:
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
- Proven experience in data centre operations, security industry, or forces/services background.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong people management skills and high emotional intelligence.
- High level of professionalism and strong command presence.
- Excellent customer service skills with a âwhite gloveâ attitude.
- Good English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Reliable, proactive, and a great team player.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Willingness to learn and work to structured procedures.
