Location: Milton Keynes, MK17 8LX (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience + 25 days annual leave

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (flexible start and finish times to meet business needs) plus occasional weekend work to support contractor access, maintenance projects and business events.

Securitas UK is seeking an experienced and proactive Building Manager & Front of House to lead the day-to-day operation of our UK Headquarters, building and front of house team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Building or Facilities Manager to take ownership of a high-profile flagship site with large client and employee footfall. You'll be responsible for ensuring the building remains safe, compliant, well-maintained and operationally efficient, while delivering an exceptional workplace experience for employees, visitors and clients. You'll oversee building preventative and ongoing maintenance, facilities services, contractor management, compliance and workplace operations, while leading our Front of House and Cleaning teams. Working closely with stakeholders across Property, Procurement, Health & Safety, Security and People functions, you'll drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the site. This role combines exceptional building management with outstanding guest services to create a first-class workplace experience.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of Securitas UK's flagship headquarters.
  • Oversee hard and soft FM services, ensuring the building remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance, building systems and asset performance.
  • Lead workplace improvements, refurbishment projects and space optimisation initiatives.
  • Manage facilities budgets and identify opportunities for efficiencies and service enhancements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for building-related matters.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health and safety legislation and company standards.
  • Oversee contractor management, permits to work, RAMS and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Support business continuity, emergency planning and site resilience activities.
  • Manage FM suppliers, maintenance providers and service contracts.
  • Monitor performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and value from supplier partnerships.

Front of House & Workplace Experience

  • Lead the Front of House and Cleaning teams, maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Oversee reception, visitor management and workplace support services.
  • Ensure a professional experience for employees, visitors, clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Support meetings, hospitality requirements and corporate events.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Coach, develop and motivate site-based teams.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors and senior leaders.
  • Provide recommendations and updates on facilities, compliance and workplace performance.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in Building Management, Facilities Management or Workplace Operations.
  • Experience managing a corporate office, headquarters building or commercial property.
  • Excellent understanding of building services, maintenance, compliance and contractor management.
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing facilities suppliers and service contracts.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally overseeing Front of House, Cleaning or Facilities teams.
  • IOSH Managing Safely and/or NEBOSH Qualification.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide a 5-year checkable employment history.
  • SIA Licence or willingness to obtain after 6 months.
