Join us as a Branch Support Security Officer, working 42 hours per week across days, nights and weekends to deliver outstanding security services at key client sites in Sheffield and York. Your role will be vital in protecting employees, property and assets, strictly following Assignment Instructions and site-specific requirements. Prevent unauthorised access, monitor alarms and conduct security patrols

Provide traffic control, manage keys and handle locking/unlocking duties

Maintain logbooks, issue visitor passes and manage lost property

Offer support and information to staff, visitors and contractors

Ensure walkways are clear, report hazards and manage emergencies

Investigate fire alarm activations and monitor First Aid equipment

Report potential risks of theft, damage and vandalism

Switch off unnecessary lights and close windows during patrols

Operate security equipment and conduct ‘stop and search’ procedures

Investigate and report incidents and suspicious activities

Provide exceptional service and assist with staff and visitor issues

Maintain professional presentation and answer calls promptly

Must hold a valid SIA Licence

A full UK driving licence and own transport is essential

Must have right to work in the UK and a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment or full and part-time education during that period
