Job Description
We’re hiring a Kennel Assistant at Chalkwell Kennels. If you love animals and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you! The Kennel Assistant role involves physical tasks such as being on your feet for extended periods, kneeling, lifting, and handling animals of various sizes. Essential Criteria
- Eligibility to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history.
- Demonstrable experience working with animals and comfortable handling dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures to ensure the highest level of care.
- A reliable team player with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact professionally with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Presentable and professional – smart, clean, and tidy in appearance.
