- Planning & Budgeting: Develop and implement Service Department plans and budgets to meet financial, marketing, and sales targets, including organisational and headcount structures.
- Recruitment & Training: Oversee recruitment processes and ensure annual appraisals and training plans are in place for colleagues to support development and departmental objectives.
- Resource & Performance Management: Maintain control over departmental resources and use monthly financial reports to monitor profitability, productivity, and customer service levels.
- Sales & Customer Service: Create and execute sales, merchandising, and advertising plans; handle customer complaints professionally; and ensure warranty work complies with guidelines.
- Operational Efficiency: Conduct regular team briefings, ensure high standards for premises and equipment, and train Parts colleagues on Service Reception duties.
