As a Physical Security Risk Assessment Specialist at Securitas, you’ll do more than assess risk—you’ll help protect critical infrastructure and enable informed decision-making across the business. Your expertise will provide clarity, assurance, and confidence to stakeholders operating in complex, high-security environments. This is an individual contributor role within the Physical Security Operations team, offering the opportunity to influence security operational priorities through evidence-based risk analysis. National and international travel of up to 50% is required.

Working within the Physical Security Operations team, you’ll be a key interface with internal and external stakeholders, supporting industry-standard physical security programs and services. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholder security teams and third-party data centre providers to understand security requirements, assess risks, and deliver actionable insights. You’ll perform physical security risk assessments, vulnerability and gap analyses, and deliver clear briefings to senior leaders to safeguard data centre operations and support regulatory and auditing requirements such as SSAE 18, ISO, and PCI. This role is designed to support decision-making by providing meaningful insights, maintaining documentation and metrics, and contributing to the development of processes that enhance risk visibility and operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate understanding and engagement with Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness; recognise risk within the workplace and treat safety as a priority, complying with policies, procedures, and training.
  • Provide physical security risk analysis and assessments to ensure data centre locations meet security standards, including vulnerability and gap analyses.
  • Perform risk assessment activities to ensure physical security compliance with regulatory and auditing requirements including SSAE 18, ISO, and PCI.
  • Deliver written and oral briefings tailored for key business stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to align risk findings with prioritized assets and threats.
  • Support documentation, data, metrics, and KPI tracking to sustain and improve operational performance.
  • Enhance operational strategy by participating in the development of processes and services that advance risk visibility and stakeholder decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Five years of checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any unemployment, self-employment, or educational periods during that time.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with common business productivity tools including Excel, Word, Windows, and Outlook.
  • Customer-focused approach to stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in physical security risk assessments or related responsibilities.
  • Experience in risk analysis, security operations, or facility auditing is desirable.
  • Industry certifications in security or related specializations are preferred but not mandatory.
