Position: Licensed Security Officer

Location: Bacardi-JDSL – Poneil Site, SW Junction 11 M74, Near Douglas, ML11 0RL

Shift Times: Days, 06:00 & 18:00

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Transport: No public transport access around the site- Must be a driver due to site location

3.1 Site Based

Key Requirements:

  • Valid SIA Licence (mandatory)
  • Proven reliability and professionalism
  • Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts, including weekends
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Description

Job Opportunity

  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorised activities
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents and observations, including completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
  • Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points
  • Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises, following established protocols and procedures
  • Respond to emergencies and security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property
