We are seeking a brand-new Head of Quality to join Securitas’ efforts of true business transformation. The Head of Quality will lead the strategic direction and execution of quality management across all Securitas UK operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes of practice, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence. The Head of Quality will be responsible for maintaining ISO and NSI accreditations and will work closely with senior leadership to align quality initiatives with business objectives.

Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership – Develop and lead a quality strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Quality Management Systems – Oversee QMS implementation and compliance with ISO and NSI standards.
  • Continuous Improvement – Drive efficiency, process enhancements, and waste reduction.
  • Compliance & Accreditation – Ensure adherence to legal, industry, and corporate requirements.
  • Audit Management – Lead internal and supplier audits, coordinating ISO and ACS reviews.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with leadership, clients, and auditors on quality initiatives.
  • Risk Management – Identify and mitigate compliance risks, reporting to governance bodies.
  • Training & Development – Enhance employee quality competencies through tailored training.
  • Innovation – Introduce industry best practices and new solutions to improve quality.
  • Company Values & Risk Awareness – Uphold Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness while prioritising safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Proven experience in a senior quality management role, preferably at the executive level.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of optimising team performance and development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrates ethical behaviour, openness, and honesty in all dealings.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work well under pressure.
  • IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent NVQ Level 6 qualification.
  • Appropriate qualification in quality management.
  • Diverse experience in leading a quality function with a proven track record in strategic quality leadership.
  • Membership of a related professional body.
