Overview
Operations Analyst at Securitas UK. The role is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom. It offers 42 hours per week, with 4 on 4 off days and nights. We are seeking a dedicated security professional to join our GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) and coordinate security operations monitoring and crisis response across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The role involves initial contact with national and international clients, monitoring alarm activations, and providing timely advice and incident reporting in accordance with client procedures.
Responsibilities
- The GSOC coordinates security operations monitoring and crisis response across EMEA.
- Operate 24/7, 365 days a year, as an Operations Analyst, engaging with clients and management.
- Be the initial point of contact for inquiries and communications with national and international clients by monitoring and responding to alarm activations across multiple countries.
- Provide advice to callers when necessary and report incidents using designated procedures and protocols.
- Maintain appropriate and timely coordination between client sites, personnel, and Global Physical Security (GPS) and other lines of business management on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- SIA licence (or willingness to train to achieve this qualification).
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
- Good communicator, team player and multi-tasker.
- Good computer skills.
- Good written and verbal comprehension.
- Able to remain calm and professional and provide clear and concise advice.
- Understanding of or ability to learn the main tenets of safety and security operations and procedures.
