Role: Security Officer (SIA Training Provided) – Covering Scotstoun G14 & G51 Govan. Must be able to cover both sites. £13.76 per hour | 42-hour per week contract
Shift Pattern: 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am

Your Mission: As a Securitas Security Officer, you’ll be the first line of defence in providing professional, reliable, and proactive security for a major international client in the defence and aerospace industry. Your role involves:
- Guarding, surveillance & intervention duties
- Manning a static guardhouse on a large, sensitive site
- Patrolling large facilities (indoor & outdoor)
- Staying vigilant, detecting and deterring suspicious activity
- Using radios and other on-site security equipment
- Reporting faults, hazards, and incidents
- Protecting staff, visitors, and company assets
- Following all health & safety protocols
Qualifications You Will Need To:
- Be able to travel between Scotstoun & Govan for a 6am start
- Provide 5 years of checkable work history, including any gaps
- Provide valid proof of right to work in the UK
- Hold British nationality for the last 5 years (due to national security clearance requirements)
