Your Role
As a Protective Service Officer in our Response Team, you will be part of a dynamic unit based in Scotland. Your role includes short‑term deployments (typically 2–4 nights) to protect client assets across the UK and abroad, often at short notice. You will also provide resilience at sites including Scotstoun, Govan, Bishopton, and Hillend, ensuring constant protection and peace of mind for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Protection: Maintain a secure environment for client properties, equipment, and personnel.
- Mobile Protection: Travel between multiple sites to provide dynamic and rapid‑response security.
- Surveillance & Monitoring: Operate security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control).
- Incident & Emergency Response: React effectively to emergencies, liaising with relevant services.
- Enforcement of Protocols: Implement site‑specific security measures, visitor management, and ID checks.
- Stakeholder Support: Engage with staff, visitors, and contractors with professionalism.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain a smart appearance and represent the client with integrity.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Licence (Essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle (Essential)
- Must be a British Citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 years
- Must be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
- 5‑year checkable work history
- Previous experience in security or protective services (Preferred)
- Strong communication, observational, and decision‑making skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability
- Able to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends
