Activity Coordinator β Join Our Caring Team

As an Activity Coordinator, you will:
- Plan, organise, and deliver a varied programme of activities, events, and outings tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents.
- Encourage resident participation, taking time to get to know individuals and understand what brings them joy and fulfilment.
- Work closely with care staff and family members to ensure activities are inclusive and person-centred.
- Promote wellbeing, social interaction, and a sense of community within the home.
- Support residents to maintain hobbies, try new things, and celebrate special occasions.
- Help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels involved and respected.
- Keep accurate records of activities and resident involvement in line with company policies.
- Assist with decorating communal areas and organising seasonal events.

- Previous experience in a similar activities, care, or support role is desirable but not essential.
- Creative and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for supporting older people.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, able to plan and deliver a varied activities programme.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to encourage, motivate, and engage individuals with diverse needs and interests.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Respectful, compassionate, and sensitive to the needs and preferences of residents.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and develop new skills.
