Enduring Retail Security Officer

Overview

Securitas UK is hiring: Enduring Retail Security Officer. Location: Wrexham. Pay: £19.50 per hour. Hours: Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00; Saturday 09:00–14:00.

This role is about more than guarding; you are a trusted protector, first responder, and a vital part of a world-class team safeguarding a prestigious site.

Responsibilities

• Provide a proactive approach to security-related issues throughout the duration of the duty.
• Respond to identifiable threats, incidents, or colleague wellbeing support when required.
• Maintain constant and appropriate communications with the Joint Operation Centre via radio, tablet, or other tech.
• Demonstrate the highest level of bearing and deportment—alert, approachable, visible—and maintain a strong security presence.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• SIA Licence – DS/CP
• Right to work in the UK
• Five-year checkable work history
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Customer service experience
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable and customer-focused with a commitment to exemplary service
• Ability to acquire Enhanced DBS checks (location dependent)
• Able to stand for extended periods
