Job Description null

Your day to day

  • Safe movement and transport of Raw materials, components and Finished goods from one area to another, as requested and directed by the Operations or Supply Chain Supervisory & Management teams
  • Follow all company SSOW, SOPs and HSE guidelines to ensure that they and those around them are kept safe
  • Unloading of Raw materials & transporting them to appropriate storage areas
  • Loading of Trailers with Finished goods in a timely manner
  • Safe removal of Finished goods away from the production lines
  • Placing components at production lines
  • Transporting & supplying pallets to production lines
  • Removal and transport of large bulky items from the factory (for example waste skips and core cages)
  • Ensuring that equipment is kept in a well-maintained condition, free from damage and ensuring that any damage, faults or malfunctions are to be reported to management immediately

We're looking for

  • Valid Counterbalance B2 licence with Clamp attachment.
  • If your B2 Clamp licence is inhouse only, we require the training to have been delivered by an Instructor certified in RTITB, ITSSAR, CITB, or another certified body.
  • Willingness to move heavy materials across our manufacturing site, prioritising and promoting safety at all times.
  • Collaborative approach, supporting with deep-cleans and adopting a clean-as-you-go approach.
  • Ideally, we're looking for experience operating in a paper converting or reel storage environment (or transferable knowledge and skills).

Join our busy manufacturing facility in the Ellesmere Port, where your day to day will entail moving Parent Reels, Finished Goods, and machinery components to required areas.

Shift pattern : 4 on 4 off (comprising of 2 days, 2 nights, then 4 off).
