Overview

We are Hiring: Dedicated Security Officer
Location: Covering various sites across Bradford, Leeds, Normanton, Sheffield, Hull
Pay: £14.50 – £19.50 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week (covering days, nights and weekends)

At Securitas, being a Dedicated Security Officer means a flexible, dynamic role that supports multiple prestigious sites across Bradford, Leeds, Normanton, Sheffield and Hull. You’ll be a central point of contact for incidents, delivering high levels of customer service while embodying our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. This includes:

  • Provide a proactive approach to all security related issues throughout the duration of the duty.
  • Respond to identifiable threats, incidents, or colleague wellbeing support when required.
  • Maintain constant and appropriate communications with the Joint Operation Centre, via radio, tablet, or other tech.
  • Maintain a high level of bearing and deportment, stay alert, visible, and ensure a strong security presence.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • SIA Licence – DS/CP
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 5-year checkable work history
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Customer service experience
  • Good organisational skills
  • Reliable and customer focused with a commitment to exemplary service
  • Dependent on location – Ability to acquire Enhanced DBS checks
  • Able to stand for extended periods
