Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week – Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
Responsibilities
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site; monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
- Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
- Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
- Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
- Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
- Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises.
Qualifications
- A valid SIA licence.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Prior experience as a Security Officer in the security industry is desirable.
- Flexibility to work nights.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Punctual and reliable.
- First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
- Right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history.
- Strong communication skills in English – written and spoken.
