As a Control Room Operator, you’ll be the first line of awareness and response across a busy and dynamic environment. You’ll work closely with clients, visitors, employees, and members of the public, ensuring the smooth monitoring of all security, communication, and life-safety systems within the designated region. Using advanced monitoring tools, you’ll help maintain a safe and secure space by following established procedures and responding promptly to any potential concerns.
As part of your responsibilities as a Control Room Operator, you’ll play a key role in identifying unusual activity, coordinating emergency support, and assisting both internal teams and external responders when needed. Whether monitoring life-safety systems, dispatching patrols, or maintaining detailed incident records, you’ll contribute directly to creating a safe and well-managed environment for everyone on site.

Responsibilities:
- Observe and document all unusual or unsafe activities, taking appropriate action as required
- Dispatch mobile or patrol officers to secure access areas and respond to service calls and emergencies
- Monitor the movements of security personnel to expedite service requests, emergency responses, and ensure employee safety
- Respond to system alarms and notify appropriate response resources following standard operating procedures
- Monitor media and other sources to gather and deliver relevant data to clients
- Maintain detailed records of activities during shifts
- Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations

Qualifications:
- A valid CCTV licence
- 3+ years control room experience

- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history. British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements).
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
