As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving new business across the North, identifying high-potential opportunities and converting them into valuable, long-term customer accounts.
  • Growing existing customer relationships, developing a deep understanding of their businesses and identifying opportunities to deliver greater value.
  • Taking ownership of your sales strategy, building and executing targeted plans that strengthen your pipeline and deliver ambitious revenue growth.
  • Acting as a trusted packaging adviser, providing expert, consultative guidance and recommending solutions that respond to each customer’s specific commercial and operational needs.
  • Delivering an outstanding customer experience, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless journey from initial opportunity through to delivery.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • A motivated and ambitious mindset, with the drive to seek out opportunities, exceed targets and deliver results.
  • A proven track record in new business development and account management, with experience winning new customers while successfully growing existing accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of the packaging industry, with a clear understanding of market trends, customer needs and emerging commercial opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage, influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A natural ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers, establishing trust and developing partnerships that create long-term value.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales conversations and confidently take opportunities from initial engagement through to close.

You will build strong customer relationships, grow accounts and drive new business across the North region, playing a key role in expanding our packaging business through innovative, value added customer solutions.
