We are an award-winning event team, providing security solutions for some of the most prestigious and iconic events across Scotland.

We are looking for a Regional Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Glasgow.

You will be responsible for driving the growth of your events space, building strong client relationships, mentoring and developing your team members, and identifying future talent.

You will also be involved in strategic planning, budget management, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring your team deliver a service at the highest level of industry standards and best practice.

You will have the opportunity to lead your team to deliver a variety of events, such as live music events, festivals, sporting occasions, cultural and seasonal events and more across a portfolio of prestigious clients.

You will also have the full support of the Securi Group Academy, which delivers security apprenticeships alongside a full suite of events qualifications, to help you develop your team and enhance your own skills.

You will work closely with our senior team to develop and grow our event portfolio.

What will you do

  • Provide strategic leadership to our event management and supervision team, ensuring we deliver high-quality security services to clients and event attendees.
  • Plan and coordinate the security deployment and associated requirements for each event, in line with client requirements and operational needs.
  • Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with clients, event organisers, multi-agency partners and other stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Mentor and develop your team members, providing them with feedback, coaching, and training opportunities, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and deliver an exceptional service as company ambassadors.
  • Identify and recruit new talent for your team, ensuring they have the necessary skills, qualifications, and attitude to join our award-winning company.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the event security business, identifying new opportunities, markets, and clients.
  • Manage the budget and financial performance of your team, ensuring they operate within agreed targets and deliver value for money.
  • Identify and mitigate any potential risks, issues, or challenges that may arise during the delivery of security services, ensuring they are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant security industry, health and safety, and legal regulations, as well as our own policies and procedures, creating event specific Risk Assessments to minimise risks and ensure the safety of all stakeholders.

What we need from you

  • Previous experience in a similar management role.
  • A valid SIA licence preferable but not essential.
  • Event Management Qualification preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the events industry including the latest trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to plan and organise effectively, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously with commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing situations, and solve problems creatively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required by the events schedule.
