Due to growth and expansion within our team, SecuriGroup is seeking an experienced Security Officer within the Glasgow area, to demonstrate our values of Loyalty, Integrity, and Professionalism while delivering a high standard of service.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Assisting in the creation of a pleasant and secure atmosphere for all persons entering the area.
- Ensuring by your actions, knowledge, bearing, and appearance that the security of the area, staff and visitors, and the venue’s material contents remain safe against threats of all nature.
- Supporting the client\’s staff, potentially dealing with incidents and making decisions on how to handle problems that arise.
- Following training, you will have a full understanding of the functions covered at the site you are working at, including: Security, site protocols, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Portraying a smart and presentable image for both our clients and company brand.
- Using excellent communication skills when conversing with staff and visitors to the area.
- Ensuring that you conduct your duties in a consistent and appropriate manner and in line with company policy and statutory requirements.
- Completing all relevant paperwork including, but not limited to, Daily Occurrence Book, Incident Reports, and Visitor Appointment Diary.
- Dealing with emergency situations/incidents.
- Working alongside nightshift officers.
- Carrying out gatehouse duties.
- Locking up various buildings.
- CCTV monitoring.
- Maintaining access control.
- As per the Assignment Instructions, you will report any faults or areas for improvement regarding the safety of persons within the building to the site manager and operational support.
What We Need From You:
- Hold a Security Industry Authority Licence. This must be visible at all times on duty.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
- Preferably have experience in working in a customer-facing environment and understand the importance of positive customer interaction.
- Have a firm understanding of the importance of attention to detail.
- Have the physical ability to stand for prolonged periods.
