The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead the delivery of complex fire and security projects. You will act as the technical authority on-site, commission and test systems to the highest standards, mentor junior engineers, and represent SecureWais confidently with clients and consultants.
What You’ll Do
- Commission and test fire/security systems across high-profile projects.
- Ensure compliance with BS5839, BS7671, and UK safety regulations.
- Validate designs, drawings, and documentation.
- Lead site inspections, testing, and client handovers.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years experience commissioning fire/security systems.
- Strong technical authority with knowledge of British Standards.
- Leadership and mentoring ability.
- Confident communicator in client/consultant settings.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain SC clearance.
