  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Delivering small works projects — from minor installs and upgrades to remedial works.
  • Ensuring all work meets British Standards, industry regulations, and company procedures.
  • Maintaining excellent health & safety practices across all tasks.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Commissioning systems, handing them over, and providing customer training.
  • Carrying out acceptance testing and quality assurance checks.
  • Offering professional, customer-facing support when required.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in fire and security engineering, especially small works.
  • Strong technical knowledge across TECS, fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control (multi-manufacturer).
  • Solid understanding of BS5839, BS5266, EN50131, and related standards.
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects confidently.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to produce accurate quotes and technical documentation.
