We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps Specialist to optimize our Azure-based infrastructure, drive GitOps/IaC best practices, and ensure our platform meets the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities:- Build & Scale Green Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage Azure (AKS, Terraform, GitOps) systems that power real-time climate analytics.
- Automate for Impact: Own CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to accelerate deployment of climate data services.
- Optimize for Performance & Sustainability: Monitor and tune cloud resources for cost-efficiency, low latency, and minimal carbon footprint.
- Secure & Future-Proof: Harden infrastructure (IAM, networking, compliance) to protect sensitive environmental datasets.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with data scientists and developers to deliver a resilient, high-uptime platform.
- Azure Cloud Mastery: Hands-on experience with AKS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and IaC.
- GitOps & CI/CD: Proven track record with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Azure Pipelines.
- Microsoft Ecosystem Fluency: Windows Server, PowerShell, Active Directory.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes (AKS preferred), Helm, Docker.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Problem-Solver Mentality: Own outages, troubleshoot complex systems, and document solutions.
- Experience with Cloudflare, Bitbucket, or sustainability-focused tech.
- Knowledge of green cloud computing best practices.
