This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how we grow the Bank's deposit base through innovative partnerships and seamless customer journeys.

If you are energised by cross‑functional working, comfortable navigating commercial, legal and regulatory landscapes, and passionate about delivering great customer outcomes, we would love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

You will take ownership of the full lifecycle of our Deposit Partnerships — from early discussions right through to go‑live and ongoing governance. In this role, you will:

  • Lead end‑to‑end implementation
  • Guide new partnerships from concept through to technical integration, operational readiness and launch, making sure every stage is delivered smoothly.
  • Shape commercial and legal outcomes
  • Work closely with Legal and external partners to finalise contracts and commercial structures, ensuring they are fair, compliant and aligned to the Bank's goals.
  • Design robust regulatory frameworks
  • Partner with risk and compliance teams to embed strong AML, KYC and third‑party risk controls, ensuring every partnership meets our risk appetite.
  • Champion Consumer Duty
  • Ensure Consumer Duty requirements are fully embedded in partnership models, with clear reporting and monitoring that demonstrates positive customer outcomes.
  • Map operational journeys
  • Document and optimise end‑to‑end workflows and customer journeys, identifying friction points and helping Ops teams create seamless experiences.
  • Lead governance and oversight
  • Establish and chair governance forums, monitor performance against SLAs, and ensure strong, ongoing partner oversight after launch.
  • Bring insight to strategy
  • Stay close to the deposits market, spotting trends and helping us diversify our acquisition channels.
  • Build strong internal alignment
  • Engage and influence teams across Finance, IT, Risk, Operations and senior leadership to ensure everyone is prepared to support new partnership activity.

Who you will work with

You will collaborate closely with:

  • Savings & Digital
  • Operations
  • Legal, Risk & Compliance
  • Senior leadership and EXCO
  • External partners and aggregators

What you will bring

We know talented people come from all kinds of backgrounds and experiences, so if you are excited by the role and feel you could be a great fit, we would love to hear from you — even if you do not tick every box. We are looking for someone with:

  • Deep knowledge of the deposit aggregator market
  • Experience working with commercial and legal contract structures
  • Understanding of compliance and risk frameworks (AML, KYC, 1st/2nd line)
  • Strong commercial judgement
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
