Secure Trust Bank Group is looking for a Reporting Accountant to join our External Reporting & Tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and tax reporting across the Group, while working with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the production of the Group’s consolidated and subsidiary financial statements, including Annual and Interim Reports.
  • Preparing accurate and timely disclosures to a high standard.
  • Managing deliverables and liaising with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide data and insights for regulatory returns.
  • Contributing to tax compliance activities, including UK Corporation Tax and VAT.
  • Researching and advising on complex technical accounting matters (e.g. IFRS 9, IFRS 2, IFRS 5).
  • Producing technical accounting papers and challenging key judgements to ensure robust financial reporting.

What we’re looking for

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 1–2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS.
  • Experience in producing Annual Reports, Interim Reports, and subsidiary accounts.
  • Familiarity with the Listing Rules and financial services sector (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
