What you’ll be doing
- Lead the transformation of Risk reporting across the Bank. This high-profile role offers the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, shape reporting strategy and drive meaningful change across the Risk function.
- Design and deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide clear, actionable insight for senior Risk stakeholders.
- Develop executive-level visualisations that simplify complex risk data and support informed decision-making.
- Build scalable, reusable data models and reporting frameworks that meet multiple business needs.
- Utilise SQL, Alteryx and other data transformation tools to automate data sourcing, preparation and reporting processes.
- Integrate and rationalise data from multiple sources, improving data quality, consistency and governance.
- Lead the automation of reporting processes, reducing manual effort and replacing spreadsheet-based activities with scalable solutions.
- Explore and implement Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities to enhance reporting, automate insights and identify trends, exceptions and areas requiring management attention.
- Partner closely with senior Risk leaders to transform reporting from descriptive outputs into meaningful business insight and forward-looking risk intelligence.
- Act as a hands-on transformation lead, working across Risk, Data and Technology teams to deliver sustainable reporting and analytics improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement by challenging existing processes, enhancing reporting quality, increasing efficiency and embedding best practices, documentation and knowledge sharing.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience designing and delivering Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, with a strong understanding of data modelling and BI best practice.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with experience using Alteryx or similar tools to transform, automate and optimise complex datasets.
- Demonstrable track record of automating reporting processes, streamlining MI environments and reducing reliance on manual reporting.
- Ability to produce high-quality executive-level reporting, translating complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience gathering requirements and delivering practical analytical solutions.
- Experience leading change and delivering reporting transformation initiatives across multiple teams, ideally within a regulated environment.
- Experience in financial services, risk, consumer lending, AI/Copilot, cloud-based data platforms or reporting governance would be advantageous.
