We’re now launching a new structured lending product within our Speciality Finance team—and we’re looking for an analytical, curious, and driven individual to help shape it from the ground up. This isn’t just a role where you’ll analyse data—you’ll influence lending decisions, help manage risk, and contribute to the growth of a new product in a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll play a key role in understanding and shaping loan portfolio performance, supporting deal execution, and ensuring we manage risk effectively.
- Deep dive into data & risk
- Analyse loan portfolios, borrower profiles, and performance trends
- Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities within complex datasets
- Develop early warning indicators to flag emerging issues
- Build impactful financial models
- Create and maintain robust Excel models for cashflow forecasting and stress testing
- Model structured lending scenarios, including cashflow waterfalls and sensitivities
- Support deal structuring, pricing, and portfolio optimisation
- Support lending decisions
- Contribute to credit assessments and due diligence
- Prepare clear, high-quality credit papers for stakeholders
- Support transactions from initial evaluation through to completion
- Monitor and communicate performance
- Produce insightful reporting with clear commentary and recommendations
- Track key metrics, covenants, and portfolio health
- Help ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and audit-ready
What we’re looking for
