Are you passionate about data‑driven decision‑making and delivering great outcomes for customers? We’re looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our consumer lending portfolios.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the production of management information (MI) for our consumer lending portfolios, ensuring it’s timely, accurate, and fit for purpose.
  • Design, implement, and monitor credit risk strategies that drive sustainable growth and customer success.
  • Analyse portfolio performance, including delinquency and acceptance rates, and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure fair and positive outcomes for customers.
  • Support Finance in assessing retailer and introducer performance to determine product profitability.
  • Drive automation in lending decisions to improve efficiency and customer experience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience: Demonstrable years in a Credit Risk Analyst role, ideally within consumer finance.
  • Technical Skills: Strong coding ability in SAS, Python, or SQL; proficient in Excel. Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Expertise: Familiarity with Credit Reference Agency data, credit risk strategy, scorecard development, and decision systems.
  • Education: Degree in a business, IT, or mathematical discipline (or equivalent experience).
