About the role
As part of the team, you will be responsible for executing fraud prevention strategies effectively, investigating, and reporting cases of suspected or confirmed fraud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess potential 1st, 2nd, or 3rd party fraud at the application stage and take action to mitigate identified risks, in accordance with the company\’s fraud prevention strategy.
- Escalate complex or priority cases within SLAs.
- Review and assess received documentation in line with internal and regulatory requirements where required.
- Act as a fraud prevention contact for relevant third parties, including internal stakeholders, Cifas, and SIRA.
- Work within agreed SLAs to provide exceptional customer service to applicants and retail partners.
- Be self-motivated and accountable for your workload with minimal supervision when needed.
- This role is based in Cardiff, requiring full-time office attendance for the first 3 months, then transitioning to hybrid working on a rota basis.
- Work a 35-hour shift pattern within hours of 8:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm on Saturday, and 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on Sunday.
