We're now launching a new structured lending product within our Speciality Finance team—and we're looking for an analytical, curious, and driven individual to help shape it from the ground up.
This isn't just a role where you'll analyse data—you'll influence lending decisions, help manage risk, and contribute to the growth of a new product in a collaborative, forward‑thinking team.
Responsibilities- Analyse loan portfolios, borrower profiles, and performance trends
- Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities within complex datasets
- Develop early warning indicators to flag emerging issues
- Build impactful financial models
- Create and maintain robust Excel models for cashflow forecasting and stress testing
- Model structured lending scenarios, including cashflow waterfalls and sensitivities
- Support deal structuring, pricing, and portfolio optimisation
- Support lending decisions
- Contribute to credit assessments and due diligence
- Prepare clear, high‑quality credit papers for stakeholders
- Support transactions from initial evaluation through to completion
- Monitor and communicate performance
- Produce insightful reporting with clear commentary and recommendations
- Track key metrics, covenants, and portfolio health
- Help ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and audit‑ready
- Experience in credit analysis, financial modelling, or structured lending
- Strong Excel skills (e.g. cashflow modelling, scenario analysis)
- Confidence working with financial data and interpreting financial statements
- A sharp analytical mindset and attention to detail
- The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Exposure to speciality finance, private debt, or real estate finance
- Experience with SQL or data analysis tools
- A relevant qualification (e.g. ACA, CFA) or equivalent experience
