Fraud Prevention Associate Cardiff Based Role with hybrid working

About the role

As part of the Fraud Prevention team you will be responsible for executing the fraud prevention strategies effectively, to investigate and report cases of suspected or confirmed fraud accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess potential 1st, 2nd or 3rd party fraud at application stage and take action to mitigate any risk identified, in accordance with the company’s fraud prevention strategy.
  • Escalate complex/priority cases within SLAs.
  • Where required, review and assess documentation received in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a fraud prevention point of contact for relevant third parties, including but not limited to, internal stakeholders, Cifas and SIRA.
  • Work to agreed service level agreement (SLAs) providing exceptional customer service to applicants and retail partners.
  • Be self-motivated and take accountability for own workloads with minimal supervision when required.

The role is based in Cardiff and requires full time office attendance for the first 3 months, reverting to full Hybrid working thereafter on a rota basis in line with team shift patterns. Must be able to work a 35 hour shift pattern within the hours of 8.00am-8.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.00am -6.00pm on a Saturday and 9.00am-5.00pm on a Sunday.
