We are currently recruiting a Security Officer to work full-time, Monday to Friday, at a site in Wood Green. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and the general public. This position requires strong attention to detail, a professional attitude, and excellent communication skills.

Location: Wood Green, London

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Β£12.50

Start Date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a visible and reassuring security presence on site
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including all access points and public areas
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond to suspicious activity or incidents
  • Control site access, check ID, and manage visitor sign-in procedures
  • Respond to emergencies, alarms, or incidents calmly and effectively
  • Liaise with management and contractors as needed
  • Maintain clear and accurate records, including daily activity reports and incident logs

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) – essential
  • Previous experience in a static or site-based security role – preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Smart appearance and professional attitude
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and eligible to work in the UK

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 15:00pm, 35 hours per week
