Job Description
SOS Security is a values-based modern security services company. We provide static security guarding services to a residential development in South East London.
We are seeking a well-presented, articulate, reliable team player to serve as a static security officer at our contract in South East London, SE10.
Hours of work:
- Monday 21:00 – 05:00
- Tuesday 21:00 – 05:00
- Saturday 21:00 – 05:00
- Sunday 21:00 – 05:00
Total 32 hours per week, on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule.
Pay Rate: £11.95 per hour
Duties include:
- Monitoring health and safety compliance, including PPE usage
- Reporting or addressing maintenance issues, such as slip hazards
- Monitoring alarm systems
Protection of property and premises
Responsibilities include responding to incidents like burglaries, fires, or floods, and routine tasks such as patrolling, alarm monitoring, and ensuring security equipment functions properly.
Preventing loss and waste
Activities involve preventing theft, safeguarding confidential information, and managing waste by reducing unnecessary electrical use and unauthorized system access.
