Role Overview

We are seeking an organised and proactive Venue Supervisor to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of events and venue operations. The successful candidate will support management, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service and safety standards are maintained throughout all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily venue operations during events and opening hours
  • Support and coordinate security, bar, and floor staff
  • Ensure health & safety and licensing procedures are followed
  • Assist with crowd management and customer issues when necessary
  • Handle incidents professionally and upscale issues appropriately
  • Conduct venue checks before, during, and after events
  • Support opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Liaise with performers, DJs, promoters, and external contractors
  • Complete reports and communicate operational updates to management

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, nightlife, or events preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and organised in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
