An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join our team in the Doncaster area. Secure Healthcare Solutions is a specialist complex care provider supporting adults and children within their own homes. We deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with a wide range of needs and conditions. Our dedicated operational, clinical, and quality teams work together to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both our service users and care staff at all times.

About the Role

We are recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our existing care team and support a young lady within her own home as part of a 2:1 care package. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' support work experience and must have previous experience supporting individuals with:

  • Autism
  • Challenging behaviours
  • Positive behaviour support strategies
  • Working within a 2:1 support setting

Restraint training is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

While promoting the independence, dignity, and wellbeing of the service user, you will be required to:

  • Provide personal care and day-to-day support
  • Follow behaviour support plans and risk management strategies
  • Deliver care in line with guidance from our Clinical Lead and management team
  • Support with nutrition and hydration needs
  • Assist with medication requirements where necessary
  • Support with household and domestic tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Report any concerns relating to the health, safety, or wellbeing of the service user
  • Liaise effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and management
  • Participate in team meetings, supervisions, and training sessions
