An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join our team in the Doncaster area. Secure Healthcare Solutions is a specialist complex care provider supporting adults and children within their own homes. We deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with a wide range of needs and conditions. About the Role
We are recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our existing care team and support a young lady within her own home as part of a 2:1 care package. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' support work experience and must have previous experience supporting individuals with:
- Autism
- Challenging behaviours
- Positive behaviour support strategies
- Working within a 2:1 support setting
Restraint training is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
While promoting the independence, dignity, and wellbeing of the service user, you will be required to:
- Provide personal care and day-to-day support
- Follow behaviour support plans and risk management strategies
- Deliver care in line with guidance from our Clinical Lead and management team
- Support with nutrition and hydration needs
- Assist with medication requirements where necessary
- Support with household and domestic tasks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Report any concerns relating to the health, safety, or wellbeing of the service user
- Liaise effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and management
- Participate in team meetings, supervisions, and training sessions
