An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Complex Care Assistant to join our team supporting a service user in their own home in Newport, Shropshire.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay rate up to £15.00 per hour (holiday pay accrued and paid separately)
- Paid mileage: 40p per mile (up to 40 miles)
- Paid shadow shifts
- 12-hour day and night shifts available
- Must be able to commit to a rolling rota
About the Role
We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a service user within their own home. Due to the specific needs and preferences of the service user, female applicants only will be considered for this position.
Essential Experience
- NG Tube care
- Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
- Non-epileptic seizures
- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) – severe chronic pain management
- Medication administration
- Buccal Midazolam administration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support
- Deliver clinical interventions as directed by our Clinical Lead
- Support with nutrition and hydration needs
- Administer and support with medication
- Assist with light domestic duties
- Maintain accurate records and follow all company policies and procedures
- Liaise effectively with management and healthcare professionals
- Report any concerns regarding the service user's health and wellbeing
- Participate in team meetings, supervisions, and ongoing training
