An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Complex Care Assistant to join our team supporting a service user in their own home in Newport, Shropshire.

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay rate up to £15.00 per hour (holiday pay accrued and paid separately)
  • Paid mileage: 40p per mile (up to 40 miles)
  • Paid shadow shifts
  • 12-hour day and night shifts available
  • Must be able to commit to a rolling rota

About the Role

We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a service user within their own home. Due to the specific needs and preferences of the service user, female applicants only will be considered for this position.

Essential Experience

The successful candidate must have experience supporting individuals with:

  • NG Tube care
  • Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
  • Non-epileptic seizures
  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) – severe chronic pain management
  • Medication administration
  • Buccal Midazolam administration

Key Responsibilities

While promoting the independence, dignity, and wellbeing of the service user, you will be required to:

  • Provide personal care and support
  • Deliver clinical interventions as directed by our Clinical Lead
  • Support with nutrition and hydration needs
