Amazing full time opportunity for a Complex Care Assistant to join our team in the Kirklees area of West Yorkshire (WF15).

We are recruiting for Complex Care Assistants to provide care to two young adults (1 male, 1 female) ages 16 and 19 with complex needs and learning difficulties in their own home. They live with their parents and are very happy and positive people. Our service users require someone with a solid background in complex care (2 years+) and a firm understanding of learning difficulties/physical difficulties. They are looking for staff who are engaging, positive and present in the moment.

Required Experience:

  • Epilepsy
  • Peg
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Reflux
  • Challenging behaviour/Autism
  • Oxygen
  • Scoliosis

Whilst promoting the independence of the individual service user and meeting their care needs, our Complex Care Assistants must be willing to:

  • Assist/provide personal care
  • Provide clinical support provided by our clinical lead
  • Provide nutrition and hydration support
  • Support with medication needs
  • Assist in domestic duties
  • Comply with all policies and procedures
  • Liaise with management
  • Report back any concern relating to the health of the service user
  • Participate in team meetings & supervisions
