The Role
As a Complex Care Assistant, you\'ll provide high-quality, person-centred care to a client in their own home, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible.
Working alongside our experienced Clinical Lead and wider care team, you\'ll receive ongoing support while delivering safe, compassionate care tailored to the client\'s individual needs.
Responsibilities & Experience
- Provide personal care with dignity and respect while delivering clinical support under the guidance of our Clinical Lead
- Support the client with nutrition and hydration
- Administer medication as required
- Assist with light domestic duties
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
- Report concerns regarding the client\'s health and wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with management and the wider care team
- Attend team meetings and supervision sessions
- Preferred Experience
Experience in complex care is desirable, particularly in areas such as tracheostomy care, tracheostomy suctioning and inner tube changes, medication administration, wet and dry ventilation, PEG feeding, diabetes management, the use of nebulisers and mechanical cough assist.
