The opportunity
Seeking a Senior Business Analyst with national security experience to contribute to digital transformation programmes. The role involves understanding user needs, defining problems, supporting Agile delivery teams, and ensuring solutions meet business requirements. Must hold eDV clearance. Opportunities to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement.
What you could work on
- Understand and define problems to be solved
- Translate user needs into user stories
- Support delivery team in prioritising work and defining minimum viable product (MVP)
- Assist in backlog creation with Product Owner
- Model business processes (As is / To be)
- Support testing to ensure functionality meets requirements
- Engage with stakeholders and manage expectations
- Work using Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, Kanban
- Extensive commercial experience in stakeholder management
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience defining functional and non-functional requirements
- Ability to write acceptance criteria and user stories
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Customer-facing experience with ability to build rapport
- Understanding of government transformation strategies and service standards
