We are recruiting for a Fire and Security Service Engineer on behalf of a well-established NSI Gold accredited Fire & Security company that has been operating successfully for over 30 years. Due to continued growth and a strong reputation within the industry, they are looking to expand their engineering team.

This role will involve servicing, maintenance and fault finding across a range of Fire & Security systems within commercial, educational, residential and care home environments.

Responsibilities as a Fire and Security Engineer:
  • Servicing, fault finding and maintenance of Fire & Security systems
  • Working across Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry standards and regulations
  • Participation in a 1 in 8 weeks call-out rota
  • Covering the local area
Package & Benefits for a Fire and Security Engineer:
  • Basic salary £36,000 - £40,000
  • Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
  • 1 in 8 weeks call-out rota
  • £300 per week standby payment
  • 10% commission on upsold works
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays (higher entitlement negotiable)
  • Company vehicle with personal use
  • 40-hour working week
  • Standard hours 8:30am – 5:00pm with flexibility available
