Following the award of new contracts, the business is continuing to expand and is looking for an experienced engineer who wants to progress, take the lead on site and play an important part in its future growth. The company delivers Fire and Security solutions across a varied portfolio of retail, commercial and education sites.
Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer with strong installation and commissioning experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility. The role will involve installing and commissioning Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems, overseeing subcontractors and helping to coordinate works on site. The position is predominantly focused on installation and commissioning, with occasional servicing and fault-finding when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission Fire and Security systems
- Work across retail, commercial and education sites
- Take the lead on site and coordinate project works
- Oversee subcontractors and monitor the quality of completed work
- Carry out occasional servicing and fault-finding
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Provide clear updates on project progress
Systems Experience:
Experience across the following systems is required:
- Fire alarms
- CCTV
- Access control
- Intruder alarms
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong Fire and Security installation and commissioning experience
- Confident working across multiple Fire and Security disciplines
- Able to oversee subcontractors and take responsibility on site
- Comfortable communicating with customers and site contacts
- Capable of completing servicing and fault-finding when required
- Organised, reliable and able to manage workloads effectively
- Keen to progress within a growing company
- Full UK driving licence
