Package

• Basic salary up to £40,000
• Travel paid (minus 30 mins each way)
• 22 days holiday rising to 25 + bank holidays
• Call out rota (1 in 6 weeks) – Mon-Fri or Sat-Sun
• Standby: £24/day (Mon-Fri) and £40/day (Sat-Sun)
• £35 per call out

Role Overview

This position offers the perfect mix of day works and small to mid‑scale installation projects (typically 3‑5 weeks). You will be responsible for installing fire alarm systems across a range of sites — from offices and schools to industrial premises. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Engineer who takes pride in neat, compliant installations and wants to work with a supportive, no‑nonsense team, with no London travel required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission fire alarm systems to current British Standards
• Work on day works and projects lasting 3-5 weeks
• Ensure compliance with BS5839 and company quality standards
• Communicate effectively with clients and project managers
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years\’ experience in Fire Alarm installations
• Familiar with addressable and conventional systems
• Strong fault‑finding and commissioning ability
• Full UK driving licence
