Fire & Security Engineer London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent & Sussex Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 Package: * £35,000 – £45,000 basic salary * Company van provided * 37.5-hour working week – 8:30am–4:00pm * 5% bonus on quoted works (up to £5,000 per quote) * 1-in-4 on-call rota – £20 per day * 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days * Weekly pay * Travel paid after the first 30 minutes each way * Strong in-house and external training opportunities Our client is an established Fire & Security business delivering specialist engineering services across a varied portfolio of commercial and highly secure environments. Role Overview Due to continued requirements across the region, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join the engineering team. The role will involve: * Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on a range of Fire & Security systems. * Carrying out repairs and remedial works across commercial sites. * Working across a varied portfolio, including prisons, hospitals, airports and other secure environments. * Covering predominantly London and the M25, with some travel across Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent and Sussex. * Delivering a high standard of technical work and customer service. Requirements * Previous experience within the Fire & Security industry. * Full, clean UK driving licence. * Ability to pass BS7858 screening. * Ability to obtain EL1 security clearance.
